Anonymous Letter To Nigerian Ladies

Letter To Nigerian Ladies

Dear ladies, Firstly, if you are still struggling to find a husband at an old age it's simply because you are looking for a perfect man. Something might be wrong with you. Now, check your propaganda

Magazine tells you that 'All men are liars, cheats and useless, but let’s be honest here, which is more likely? Is it that there’s something wrong with about 70million African men OR there is something wrong with one African Woman? You Ladies certainly will not get into a blissful matrimony if u re always hanging out with your so call girlfriends every night at a beer palour or bar waiting for a guy to buy you a drink & take you home afterwards. Drinking yourself to stupor every Friday & Saturday night does not exactly make you look like a marriage material. You want a man?...invest in a good wardrobe & dress responsibly not like a mad person.

When a man comes to you, smile & be polite, even if he does not fit your mental image of ur kind of man. Ladies, stop coming to relationship with a chip on your shoulder. If you believe all men are bad & all men are Dogs, then it will become a self fulfilling prophesy. No man is perfect! You say you can't marry a blue collar guy like a mechanic or carpenter, Now if a carpenter was good enough to marry Mary mother of the Jesus Christ, why isn't one good enough for you?

Do not focus on where a man is now, but look and see where he has the potentials to be. Wat’s the point of being beaten to a pulp every night by some rich, good looking and non caring man? Do u want a future where you will sit in a traffic in your BMW X6, GUCCI sunglasses covering your swollen eyes and u look out of d window and see a happy couple in a keke napep holding hands and laughing like newly wedded couple even after 12 years of marriage.

Please don’t fake pregnancy or get pregnant to trap him, e no dey work again joor! Ur perfect man is out there, believe, work ƞ pray and you will get him.

Armed police storm Miley Cyrus's house

Armed police stormed pop star Miley Cyrus's house in the US, after receiving an emergency call about a possible kidnapping and shooting.

Los Angeles police and rescue crews surrounded the fomer Hannah Montana star's house in Hollywood on Wednesday, while helicopters circled the property.

But they soon discovered there was no one in the building.

Police say the incident may have been part of a trend of prank calls, which has been dubbed "swatting".

Swatting is when an anonymous call is made to get a team of police to storm a building or an innocent person's home.

Police told ABC News that such incidents were on the rise - even though false calls to emergency services are a crime in California.

An investigation is underway into the incident at Cyrus's home.

Police said they were tracking the caller. If found, the person will be prosecuted, and could face up to a year in jail.

Cyrus, the 19-year old actress and singer, is the daughter of American country star, Billy Ray Cyrus - who had a worldwide hit with Achy Breaky Heart in 1992.

She gained worldwide fame when she was cast as Miley Stewart, the lead role in Disney's Hannah Montana.

In 2010, Cyrus was ranked number thirteen on Forbes' Celebrity 100.

85-year-old Couple To Remarry After 50 Years of Divorce

Lena Henderson and Roland Davis got married as teenagers in Chattanooga, Tenn., during World War II. On Saturday, the 85-year-olds are getting re-hitched in Buffalo, nearly 50 years after they divorced, according to Cupid's news cherubs.
"I always thought it might happen," Davis, a military vet whose second wife died in January, told the Buffalo News. "It was always in the back of my mind. We're just thankful that we could get back together."
"I think we just kept thinking about each other all the time, even though we were so far apart," said Henderson, a widow after her second marriage.
After divorcing in 1964 -- nobody is saying why -- they kept in touch, even as Davis moved around the world. His new wife even used to call Henderson for advice. They last saw each other in 1996 at a family funeral.
"The way they would act to each other never indicated there was anything but a friendship between them," their youngest daughter, Renita Chadwick, told the Buffalo paper. "My mother never had a harsh or contrary word to say about my dad, and my dad never had anything but loving remarks to make about my mother."
"Every person I share this story with smiles, cries or laughs," Chadwick said.
Davis proposed over the phone at Easter. He arrived in suburban West Seneca from Colorado Springs with an engagement ring "pinned to my T-shirt" so he wouldn't lose it.
With four generations of family watching, including the four children they had while married, the forever lovers will re-tie the knot at a church, which they didn't do as teens.
A reception will follow, but, once again, no honeymoon trip.
"I'm just happy that we're here," said Davis.
"You don't think people are going to get married at this age," he added. ""We're just thankful we've lived this long and that we're still here. We have a lot to be thankful for."

Nigerian player dies on pitch, in Romania Today

Chinonso Ihelewere
He was taken to hospital but he never regained consciousness. The striker had been playing in Romania since 2007 when he joined Farul Constanta. He later moved to Tulcea in 2010.
“What can I say? We’re all shocked,” Universitatea Cluj boss Cristian Dulca, who previously coached the Nigerian, was quoted as saying. “It’s a tragic day for Romanian football.
“I trained him for a year and a half and I can tell you he was a real example in training. He could’ve become a very good player.”
Report said the player was given CPR for over an hour but never regained consciousness. Doctor John Tanase reported that his heart had stopped and CPR was carried out from 12.05 until 13.12. Ambulances arrived 3 minutes after being called. Bogdan Oprita, head of the local ambulance service, told national news agency Agerpres that the FC Tulcea player’s cause of death would be determined by an autopsy.
Ihelewere’s death added to a list of Nigerian players who have died in similar circumstances. In 2011, Bobsam Elejiko of fifth-tier Belgian club, Merksem, collapsed and died during a match against FC Kaart.

On August 12 1989, Samuel Okwaraji, died at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos, during a World Cup qualifying match between Nigeria and Angola. Six years later, Amir Angwe, 29, joined the list. He died while playing for Julius Berger against Maxaquene of Mozambique in CAF competition at the Onikan Stadium. Doctors blamed cardiac arrest for his death.
On March 6, 2010, former Berger player, Endurance Idahor, collapsed while starring for Al-Merreikh and died on his way to the hospital in Sudan. He was until his death Al-Merreikh’s leading striker with 46 goals in 62 matches.

London 2012: Team GB misses out on cycling medal

The British cycling team, including hotly tipped Mark Cavendish, has missed out on an Olympic gold medal in the men's road race.

The race was the most watched event in the first full day of games around the UK in 19 sports, ranging from shooting to tennis to swimming.

Meanwhile Olympic authorities are investigating why hundreds of seats were empty for popular events.

Earlier, the Queen met athletes during a visit to the Olympic Village.
Alexandre Vinokourov of Kazakhstan winning the men's road race

Team GB's hopes of a first-day gold medal were dashed after Alexandre Vinokourov broke from the race's leading group to sprint to the finish, closely followed by Colombia's Rigoberto Uran. Norway's Alexander Kristoff took the bronze.

Cavendish told BBC Radio 5 Live: "I can be proud of how the lads rode today. I'm proud of my country as there was incredible support. The guys are sat there, they are spent. They have got nothing left in the tank. It's incredible to see that. To see what they gave for the cause."

Fan Grabs Nicki Minaj onstage

Nicki Minaj isn’t afraid to get in your face with her rhymes, but Lord help whoever gets in hers. The Young Money queen was not having it when a crazed Barbz grabbed her onstage in Miami — and neither were her guards.

During a break between songs, Minaj was chatting with her Barbz when one of them got way too close. He actually rushed the stage and grabbed her disproportionately small waist and refused to let go. Scary stuff! But it got even scarier for him when her security team and her boyfriend, SB (Safaree Samuels) kicked the crap out of him.

What ensues next is a mess of punches and even a dropkick (these people are not playing around!). Then, two of the fan’s pals follow him onto the stage and into the backstage area, ostensibly to check up on and maybe nurse their pal back to health.

For her part, Minaj handled the situation remarkably well. While she at first appeared really startled and nervous, as soon as the guy was gone, she laughed the whole thing off. With a sheepish grin, the Harajuku Barbie looked at the crowd and roared, “Thank you for the love, Florida!” She immediately got back to business, performing ‘Take It to the Head’ with DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne, who joked, “Is that your baby daddy who ran onto the stage?” Oh, Tunechi. Don’t ever change.

Snoop Dogg denied Norway entry for 2 years for pot

OSLO, Norway (AP) — A lawyer representing Snoop Dogg says the American rapper has been banned from entering Norway for two years after trying to enter the country with a small amount of marijuana last month.
Holger Hagesaeter, the rapper's legal representative in Norway, told The Associated Press on Saturday that his client "can live with the decision" and has no immediate plans to appeal it.
Snoop Dogg, whose name is Calvin Broadus, was on his way to a music festival in southern Norway in June when sniffer dogs detected eight grams of marijuana in his luggage. He was also carrying more cash than is legally allowed and was fined 52,000 kroner ($8,600) after admitting to the two offenses, the lawyer said.

He was due to play in London on Tuesday, followed by Manchester, Glasgow, Cardiff and Nottingham.

The performer accepted a police caution last year after being arrested on suspicion of violent disorder and affray at Heathrow Airport.

His spokeswoman said he was "mystified" at the decision. Tuesday's London show will go ahead regardless, she added.

P Diddy will appear at the Wembley Arena show, she said.

"Snoop and his team are hoping the British government will reconsider this decision, especially as he has toured here before and sees the UK as being the highlight of the tour," the spokeswoman said.

"He has asked how he can help rectify the situation and would happily talk to and give assurances to officials."

The 35-year-old - whose real name is Calvin Broadus - was held overnight by police in Sweden earlier this month on suspicion of using drugs.

He is also currently facing weapons and drugs charges in the US stemming from three separate arrests in 2006.

Snoop Dogg came to prominence as part of the 1990s gangsta rap scene, scoring hits with What's My Name? and Gin and Juice.

The Foreign and Commonwealth Office said it could not comment on individual cases.

Rihanna, Chris Brown Secretly Meet Up on Yacht for Late Night Party

Rihanna and Chris Brown have taken their secret meet-ups international! In St. Tropez, France on Sunday, sources tell Us Weekly that the famous exes, who split in 2009 after Brown was charged with assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna, found a way to arrange an undercover meeting.
The "Where Have You Been?" songstress, 24, has been sunning herself throughout the South of France this past week, but made an addendum to her schedule when she got word of Brown's arrival.

Rihanna, Chris Brown Secretly Meet Up on Yacht for Late Night Party
"Rihanna knew Chris was on his way [to St. Tropez] and actually changed her plans late Friday night late after calling Chris from the yacht's satellite phone," a source tells Us.
Brown, 23, who chartered an impressive yacht complete with a submarine, two helicopter landing pads and a swimming pool, was seen mooring the boat next to Rihanna's off of the town's Pampelonne Beach. The "Turn Up the Music" singer is said to have rented the impressive yacht with Swizz Beatz and Ludacris -- for a whopping $400,000 a week -- for an upcoming music video.
"Rihanna went and partied hard with the guys on their yacht," the source says.
Another source adds that Brown's current girlfriend, Karrueche Tran, was also aboard. "I don't know if Rihanna even knew that she was there!"
Although Rihanna and Brown avoid stepping out in public together, the singer has gone on the record to defend her contact with her ex, namely, their musical collaboration on a remix of her song "Birthday Cake."
"It never occurred to me how this was going to be a problem," she explained to Esquire UK in June. "I thought people were gonna be surprised that we finally did a record together, but I didn't see how people could think it was a bad thing, you know? In my mind, it was just music . . . I could never see anything wrong with making music."
